Along the Way Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in Illinois, just minutes away from all the activities and entertainment that the St. Louis Metro has to offer. Our Lady of the Snows, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, the Lewis and Clark museum, the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge and Bike Trails on Historic Route 66 as well as The Cahokia Mounds Interpretative Center are just a few locations within minutes on the Illinois side. And if Wine is your thing we are less than an hour away from the Illinois & Missouri wine trails. 

     Along the Way offers a restful country setting where you can lay back and relax. Three suites are offered: The Lakeview Studio, the Wilderness Suite and the Sunrise Suite. All are located on the second floor and are comfortable and tastefully decorated, they have a private bath, refrigerator and microwave. A sauna is available as well as a hot tub housed in an enclosed gazebo that overlooks the lake.      We offer a lovely backyard with a fire pit for a warm fire on a cool evening, a covered back porch, a relaxing swing nestled under the shade of a cypress tree, and a picnic table with benches for snacking, chatting, or early morning coffee. Along the Way B &B is “your home away from home” where you will experience gracious mid-western hospitality.
